ZIPPY Advances GHG Inventory Coaching Program to Accelerate Low-Carbon Transformation

E-WEB-Goal-12 E-WEB-Goal-13

As businesses navigate energy market volatility and ongoing supply chain shifts, improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions have become essential to building long-term resilience.

Demonstrating its continued commitment to sustainable development, ZIPPY has joined the 2025 Corporate GHG Inventory Coaching Program organized by the New Taipei City Department of Economic Development. Through the program, the company completed ISO 14064-1:2018 internal verifier training and earned internationally recognized certification, further strengthening its capabilities in carbon management and greenhouse gas accounting.

ZIPPY also designated its Wugu Plant as a pilot site for GHG inventory implementation in alignment with the GHG Protocol, marking an important step toward more structured and data-driven emissions management. To further support its decarbonization efforts, we invited energy diagnostic experts from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology to conduct on-site assessments and provide recommendations on energy-saving opportunities, carbon reduction measures, and renewable energy generation potential.

To help foster a culture of sustainability across the organization, related training materials have been integrated into ZIPPY’s internal learning platform as educational resources for employees.

Looking ahead, ZIPPY will continue to strengthen its systematic approach to carbon management, advance its decarbonization roadmap, and move steadily toward a more sustainable, low-carbon future.
